Langdock Pricing 2026: What Langdock Really Costs for Your Team

Langdock costs €29 per user per month on the Business plan with monthly billing, or €23.20 per user per month with annual billing, both excluding VAT and for teams of up to 50 people. That price includes the chat with the AI models, the agent feature and model usage up to the seat's allowance. Only usage beyond that allowance, the API and workflow model costs are billed separately.

That is the short answer, and it is enough for a first estimate: a team of 20 lands at roughly €460 to €580 a month if everyone uses a Standard seat. The longer answer is still worth reading, because Langdock's pricing page now has four building blocks, of which you probably need one, and because the real cost of an AI rollout rarely sits in the licence. This article walks through every plan, works out two examples and says honestly what comes on top. Prices as of 8 October 2026, read with the price calculator on Langdock's pricing page. How much does Langdock cost per user?

Langdock has three tiers in its base package, "Chat & Agents". That is what most companies mean when they search for Langdock pricing. The prices apply to teams of up to 50 people; above that they are tiered:

Plan Price (monthly billing) Price (annual billing) Who it is for
Trial free, 7 days Trying it out with the team, €5 in model credits, no credit card required
Business, Standard seat €29 per user per month €23.20 per user per month The normal case: all features, up to 1,000 users
Business, Max seat €119 per user per month €99 per user per month Individual heavy users with five times the usage allowance
Enterprise on request on request From 1,000 users, dedicated deployment possible

All prices exclude VAT. According to the price calculator, the Standard seat consists of €22 for the platform and €7 for the included AI models. From the 51st user the Standard seat drops to €24 (monthly) or €19.20 (annual), from the 251st to €19 or €15.20, from the 551st to €16 or €12.80. As long as you book up to 50 seats, only the first price tier applies; from the 51st seat, each additional seat costs less.

The distinction between Standard and Max matters: you do not have to put the whole team on one seat type. The two colleagues who work with agents all day get a Max seat, everyone else gets Standard. According to Langdock's documentation (as of 8 October 2026), the seat type can be changed per person at any time; a freed seat stays billed until the end of the billing period and can be given to someone else in the meantime.

What is included in the price: model usage is included in the Business plan, up to the allowance of the respective seat. You pay per person, not per request. Only when someone exceeds the allowance of their seat does extra usage apply, which Langdock bills separately.

What do the Workflows, Governance and API add-ons cost?

Alongside the base package there are three add-ons. For a team starting with chat and agents, none of them is mandatory:

Add-on What it is Price (as of 8 Oct 2026)
Workflows Starter Automated processes inside Langdock, 2,500 runs per month included in the base package
Workflows Business 40,000 runs per month, per workspace €539 per month (monthly) or €449 (annual), plus model costs at API rates; 100,000 runs €1,199 or €999
Governance Review, approve and disable agents; rule templates for the EU AI Act and GDPR free until 1 January 2027, then €3.50 (monthly) or €2.80 (annual) per user per month
API One access point to 40-plus models, hosted in the EU according to Langdock usage-based, e.g. GPT-5.5 at €4.80 per million input tokens

Workflow runs are not the same as agent usage. An agent a person chats with runs on the base package. A workflow that runs in the background without a person, say one that summarises every incoming job application, counts as a run. For many teams the 2,500 runs in the Starter package are enough to begin with; the model costs of those workflows are billed at API rates, so you pay for what you use. The Governance package is free for now and interesting for companies that have to document which agent is allowed to do what.

Worked example: what does Langdock cost for 20 people?

Take a company with 20 people. Assume 18 need a Standard seat and 2 in the back office work with agents all day and get a Max seat. Derived from the base prices above, that gives:

Item Monthly billing Annual billing (per month)
18 Standard seats 18 × €29 = €522 18 × €23.20 = €417.60
2 Max seats 2 × €119 = €238 2 × €99 = €198
Workflows Starter included included
Total excl. VAT €760 per month €615.60 per month

That is €9,120 a year with monthly billing and €7,387.20 with annual billing, both excluding VAT. Not included are model costs if background workflows run, and the Governance package, which from 1 January 2027 costs €70 (monthly billing) or €56 (annual billing) a month for 20 users. Whether that pays off is not decided by the price per seat, but by whether searching, summarising and rewording take noticeably less time across the team, and whether the team still uses the tools after three months. More on that in a moment.

And for a team of 5, all on Standard: €145 a month with monthly billing, €116 with annual billing. Even for a small team, getting started is not an investment decision, it is just another line item in the budget.

What does Langdock cost on top of the licence?

This is where it gets honest. The licence is rarely the biggest item in an AI rollout, and whoever budgets only for it often has, a few months later, a tool that hardly anyone uses. From our own rollout, we know four items that come on top:

  • Setup. Roles and permissions, a company account instead of private ones, connecting mailbox, file storage and calendar. That is work that happens once.
  • The first agents. An agent does not come from clicking "New". It comes from describing a process, storing the right documents as its knowledge base and several rounds of refinement with the people who will use it.
  • Training. Not as a lecture, but on the team's own process. Anyone who only knows how to open a chat after the rollout uses Langdock like a more expensive search box.
  • Ongoing support. Someone has to look at usage, maintain agents and answer questions. In the first months that is the biggest lever for adoption.

For us that runs as a start sprint followed by support over several months, agreed in advance and billed monthly. We measure success with two numbers: how many active users there are per week, and how large the share of agent usage is compared with plain chat. What that covers in detail is on our Langdock page. The licence itself you book directly with Langdock: the contract runs between you and Langdock, and we earn nothing from it beyond the referral commission disclosed above.

Is Langdock worth it compared with individual AI accounts?

An obvious question, and the answer does not hinge on the price per seat. Booking individual private accounts for ten people means managing ten separate logins. Langdock is a platform for the whole team: one company account, the AI models included, agents the whole team uses, plus, according to Langdock, GDPR compliance, ISO 27001 and hosting in the EU. Whether that is worth the switch to you depends on whether you see AI as an individual tool or as something to be anchored in the business. What we take on in a Langdock rollout and what stays with you is on the service page. What Langdock is and who it is built for is covered in its own article.

We chose Langdock ourselves and use it in day-to-day operations, not as a demo: all of our 40-plus own AI agents run in Langdock, alongside further agents and AI workflows elsewhere in the business. How we got the team there is in Langdock Rollout: The Practical Guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a free version of Langdock?

There is a free seven-day trial in which you can test all features with your team, including €5 in credits for model usage. No credit card is needed. A permanently free plan does not exist as of October 2026. For a company the trial is enough to build a first agent with a small group, say three to five people, and check whether it helps in everyday work.

Do I have to book a seat for every employee?

No. You book seats for the people who use Langdock and can start with one department: first the back office or sales with one concrete process, then the rest, as described on our Langdock page. According to Langdock's documentation, the seat type can be changed per person at any time, and a freed seat stays billed until the end of the billing period and can go to someone else in the meantime.

What is the difference between Business and Business Max?

The Max seat has five times the usage allowance and costs €119 instead of €29 a month with monthly billing. It pays off for individual people who work with agents all day, for example in bookkeeping or support. For the rest of the team the Standard seat is enough, and the assignment can be changed per person.

Do I pay extra for the AI models with Langdock?

Not on the base package, as long as you stay within the allowance. Model usage is included in the seat price, up to the allowance of the respective seat. Usage-based billing only applies to the API, to the model costs of background workflows and to extra usage beyond the allowance. For a team working with chat and agents, the bill stays predictable.
